More Veteran Stories

NORTH CAROLINA’S WWII EXPERIENCE is more than just a documentary. This momentous multi-year initiative sought to connect generations of North Carolinians by capturing and preserving many of the World War II stories and experiences that are such a vital part of our state’s history. During the process, veterans and their families submitted their stories, photos, tributes, and videos, culminating in more than 50 entries from all theaters of the war and most branches of the Armed Services. Experience them here.
